Heavy snowfall in Kaghan Valley blocks Babusar Top, tourists stranded
Dozens Stranded as Road is Sealed; Authorities Patrol Area and Monitor Situation for Reopening

Heavy, intermittent snowfall has transformed the upper regions of Kaghan Valley into a winter paradise, drawing tourists to scenic spots like Saif-ul-Malook and Lulusar Lake.
Tourists are enjoying the snowfall and coming to visit these beautiful areas. However, Babusar Top has been closed for all kinds of traffic due to continuous snowfall, after which several tourists and vehicles are stuck there.
Administration is taking immediate steps to deal with the situation. Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) teams have been appointed to help and guide tourists at different places. These teams are also patrolling work during snowfall.
Deputy Commissioner Diamer, Captain Atta-ur-Rehman Kakar, has verified that Babusar Road has been temporarily closed after severe snowfall. He has also advised passengers and tourists to use the alternative route of the Karakoram Highway (KKH).
He also said that people will be informed through the media when Babusar Road will reopen. District administration and rescue teams are overseeing this situation.
According to weather experts, if the sun shines in the next couple of days, there are chances of Babosar Top opening again.
